Demo Script mID+ (Share data)
Use case summary
The primary objective is to facilitate the secure and efficient transfer of credentials from a user's mID+ Holder application to a verifier's mID+ Verifier application. This process is designed to accommodate various methods of data transfer, including QR code scanning, NFC (Near Field Communication), and Bluetooth, catering to different user preferences and technological capabilities. By ensuring that users can easily select and share their credentials through a straightforward, guided process, this use case aims to streamline the verification process, enhancing both security and user convenience. Through the successful implementation of this use case, both the credential holder and the verifier are assured a seamless and secure data-sharing experience, bolstering trust and efficiency in digital interactions.
Demo Flow
App Setup
Download and open the app.
Register
Selecting the Credential:
Go to “My credentials”
Select the credential you wish to share
Select “Be verify“
Choose your preferred method of information transfer: QR Code, Bluetooth, or NFC.
Method 1: QR Code
On the Holder's Device:
The application will display a QR code. Keep this screen open.
On the Verifier's Device:
Open the mID+ Verifier application.
Select the "Scan QR Code" option.
Point the camera at the QR code displayed on the Holder's device.
Follow the prompts to complete the data transfer.
Method 2: NFC (Near Field Communication)
On the Verifier's Device:
Open the mID+ Verifier application.
Select the "Read NFC" option.
On Both Devices:
Hold the two devices back to back with their NFC areas touching.
Wait for a confirmation message indicating the data transfer is complete.
Method 3: Bluetooth
On Both Devices:
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the Holder's and Verifier's devices.
On the Verifier's Device:
Open the mID+ Verifier application.
Use the application to search for nearby devices.
Find the Holder's device in the list and select it.
On Both Devices:
Accept any prompts or requests to pair the devices.
Wait for the data to transfer. A confirmation message will appear once the process is complete.

An official Document issued to you (either a passport or national ID)
A registration code
A trip code

If you want to transfer information using Bluetooth the Phone must have that functionality
For the Verifier Phone you will need

If you want to transfer information using Bluetooth the Phone must have that functionality
If you wish to read the information on your boarding pass to register for a flight you will need:
Access to a fiscal boarding pass
Access to a PDF document containing your boarding pass
Access to an image file containing your boarding pass
Access to a boarding pass image stored on your phone clipboard
