DIGITAL IDENTITY

Providing reliable and trustworthy digital identity services for organizations and individuals.

EIO includes a comprehensive digital identity management solution that covers various aspects of identity assurance, such as enrollment, issuance, safeguarding, and storage. In addition, it offers robust authentication methods and manages the digital identity lifecycle from user and provider perspectives.

The system is customizable to suit different ecosystems and industry-specific needs in various contexts. By utilizing standard communication protocols and custom connectors, EIO can easily integrate with existing processes and systems, enabling organizations to leverage its benefits while catering to their specific requirements.

EIO complies with relevant regulations and guidelines, reducing the risk of identity fraud. For example, it is aligned with NIST guidelines for digital identity proofing and authentication and the EU's eIDAS regulation, which establishes a trusted electronic identification and authentication framework, including the Trust Services Provider concept.

In summary, EIO offers a secure, compliant, and adaptable digital identity management solution that adheres to industry standards and regulatory best practices, meeting the needs of both organizations and users.

LIFECYCLE

EIO provides a solution for effectively managing and controlling the digital identity lifecycle. This includes ensuring proper governance, security, and auditing throughout the identity's lifespan, which helps organizations administer digital representations of their users and associated attributes and entitlements. Users can also access and manage their digital identities, ensuring their information is always up-to-date and accurate.

ONBOARDING

EIO has a comprehensive onboarding process to add new users and confirm their identity in person or remotely by checking the validity of documents, using biometric verification technologies, and cross-checking with databases. In addition, when users register their identity, EIO records relevant identifiers and attributes in the system. These measures ensure that only authentic users with legitimate credentials are onboarded, lowering the possibility of identity fraud.

ISSUANCE

After completing the enrollment process, EIO facilitates issuing, custody, and storing digital identity representations. Issuance involves creating and assigning digital identities to users, while custody is responsible for their management and control. Storage securely preserves digital identities on personal devices, like cards or smartphones, or remotely on servers and hardware HSM modules. Then, various form factors can securely represent digital identities with EIO, such as online IDs, digital certificates, smart mobile credentials, and linked e-documents.

AUTHENTICATION

Our solutions offer diverse levels of identity assurance, enabling organizations to select the suitable authentication level according to the risk linked to a specific service or transaction. EIO also integrates ENTRUST IAM platforms with robust multi-factor authentication (MFA) methods, which combine two or more independent factors, such as user knowledge (passwords, PINs, Questions/Answers), user possession (smartcards and mobile devices), and user attributes (including linked data and biometric templates).
